Roman Polanski To Fight Extradition To US

Oscar winning director Roman Polanski who was arrested in Switzerland for a 1977 crime of having sex with a 13 year old girl for which he fled the US will fight extradition orders said his lawyer.
Polanski, 76, who directed classic films such as Chinatown, Rosemary’s Baby and the Oscar winning The Pianist, was arrested at the airport when he flew in for the Zurich Film Festival, where he was expected to receive an honorary award.
Hollywood celebrities gossip news rumors said that an international appeal by France and Poland urging Switzerland to free him on bail is being made heard to senior US officials all the way up to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
