American Idol disco night results
The gods have do eyes – and ears. Melinda Doolittle and Blake Lewis are both safe to move on to the next round. Both had put on their worst performances in American Idol.
I know lots of people think LaKisha Jones is a fantastic vocalist, but I beg to differ. Sure she has a powerhouse voice but she doesn’t really know how to interpret a song the way Melinda Doolittle does. And it looks like America knows that too, judging from the results. Blake Lewis has his own supporters because of his beatbox, but Melinda Doolittle has pure talent, not that she needs American Idol any longer now that her awesome talent has been heard.
Still, it’s nice to see America getting it right this time round, unlike in previous American Idol competitions where the good ones are inexplicably dropped by the wayside.
BTW, LaKisha is out.
