Even Bono Downbeat About Obama
Mega pop band U2’s lead singer Bono has admitted to losing some of the optimism millions shared for change during US President Obama’s election last November.
He said in an interview with AP during the band’s 360 tour, “I didn’t think it could come to this so quickly, after the joyous occasion of that election. I thought America was looking good. … Things are getting a little rough now.”
U2 was one of the performers during Obama’s inauguration in January.
