Charlize Theron Kisses Woman For $140K
Actress Charlize Theron raised over US$140,000 for charity – by kissing the winning bidder, a woman, reports Hollywood celebrity gossip news rumors site USmagazine.
The auction took place at a gala for the charity OneXOne in San Francisco where Charlize Theron initially offered a 2010 trip to South Africa that included World Cup tickets, a safari and a meet-and-greet with Nelson Mandela, for which bidding stalled at $37,000, way below the $280,000 actor Jeremy Priven raised.
“For f*** sake! You can do better,” she tells attendees. “There is no way I am leaving here with Jeremy Piven getting a higher bid. I’ve got t**** for God’s sake.” She sweetened the deal by offering a 7-second kiss to a male bidder, saying, “Swine flu is going around. This is high risk kissing!”
After one man bid $135,000, a woman upped the stakes to $140,000 – ascending the stage for a 20-second smooch as the audience counted down.
“My boyfriend is not here tonight,” she joked with the audience. Charlize Theron is in a long term relationship with actor, Stuart Townsend.
