American Idol final results best moments

Considering that Jordin Sparks winning was already a foregone conclusion at the American Idol final results show, the only things that kept me watching were the silly little features they had giving out the Golden Idol statues. My favourite is the award for Best Buddies for Jonathan and Kenneth. Although it is cruel, the way Simon Cowell very matter of factly comments that Kenneth looks like “one of those creatures that live in the jungle with those MASSIVE eyes…what are they called…bushbaby” just cracks me up everytime.
But because of the all the publicity created by what Simon said, Kenneth and Jonathan ended up with lots of gigs, doing red carpet shows for Jimmy Kimmel, the SuperBowl and others. Kenneth said “You know what Simon, if you hadn’t said what you said, I wouldn’t be at where I’m at. So I forgive you.” In retaliation, American Idol adopted a bushbaby at the zoo on Kenneth’s behalf and named him Simon.
