Pirates of The Caribbean 3 - 10 things you should do to better enjoy it
I saw Pirates of The Caribbean:At World’s End late Sunday morning and here are some helpful tips to increase your enjoyment in seeing a movie that’s almost 3 hours long.
1. Do get 8 hours of sleep the night before or risk dozing off during the movie - very bad idea to watch Pirates 3 after a long day at work.
2. Do grab something to eat before stepping in the cinema unless you want to hear your stomach’s sound effects.
3. Do head for the loo before stepping in the cinema - unless you want to miss parts of it going to the loo during the movie - trust me, you will.
4. Do stop picking on inaccuracies in the portrayal of Singapore.
5. Do mentally recap what happened in Pirates 1 and 2 - especially 2, or you’d be even more lost than Captain Jack Sparrow.
6. Do go to the loo during Captain Jack Sparrow’s overly long hallucination scene.
7. Do brush up on your Caribbean voodoo accent in order to understand what Tia Dalma is saying.
8. Do take mental notes on about half a dozen subplots going on simultaneously.
9. Do stop looking your watch and wondering when the movie would end.
10. Do bear with 7 minutes of rolling end credits to catch the teaser for the next movie installment.
