Miss USA takes a fall
Despite slipping on stage in front of a billion viewers around the world, Miss USA managed to get into the top 5 finalists. That’s what happens when the Miss Universe Pageant is produced by Donald Trump and most of the judges are American. Miss Japan won this year but personally I thought last years’ Miss Japan looked better.

But look at it this way. She reacted calmly and recovered quickly. And she completed the walk as if nothing happen.
How many contestant can do that?

She did recover very well indeed. Although she could not hide her crestfallen look when announced as 3rd runner-up. The fall may well have cost her.
