American Idol Season 9 Los Angeles Auditions
American Idol Season 9 auditions in Los Angeles had high expectations since Hollywood is the entertainment center but sadly, out of 10,000 who auditioned, only 22 hopefuls made it through to Hollywood week. Teenybopper singer Avril Lavigne was guest judge on the first day but it may as well have been she wasn’t there at all – totally useless. Katy Perry was guest judge on the second day of auditions and she fared slightly better but boy was she catty – maybe she and Kara were just putting on a show under American Idol producers’ request to inject some interest?
