Live Earth 24 hour concert now on
Watching the Live Earth concert feels a bit like buying the lottery. Before I hit the jackpot of some big name performer, I have to sit through about 10 unknown acts. And since I cannot be sitting in front of the TV for 24 hours or even just leaving it on, I only switch on from time to time to check if there is someone famous performing.
The irony of this 24 hour concert is that it suggests that you watch the concert, if not for the entire 24 hours, as much of it as possible. Wouldn’t that be promoting energy wastage – exactly what it is supposed to be creating awareness for?
So far, the only big name performer I’ve managed to catch is Linkin Park. They sounded a bit off.
