Beyonce told to tone down concert

First it was Gwen Stefani, now the Malaysian authorities have told Beyonce to cover up and tone down her concert. Razlan Ahmad Razali, chairman of Pineapple Concerts, the company responsible for organizing the Malaysian concert has told Beyonce’s “people”.
“We’ve informed Beyonce’s management about this issue of clothes, but it takes some of the fun out of it,” Razali told the AP, “Beyonce won’t be able to do the kind of show here that she does elsewhere,” “She’s a fashion icon, and we know that she often wears miniskirts and clothes that expose her navel during her performances. It’s a pity to restrict her, because her costumes are all tasteful and glamorous.”
Although Beyonce has agreed to operation “cover up and tone down”, there’s no pleasing Malaysian religious groups, who said they were not happy with Gwen Stefani even after she complied with the Muslim dress code for her recent concert because “she still dresses immodestly outside”. Well yeah, tough cheese.
