No Britney Spears, instead Christina Aguilera performed with Tony Bennet and loads of other stars turned up for the Emmys. The Emmys are pretty much a non-event except for the folks nominated. In fact, much of it was overshadowed by news that OJ Simpson was arrested for holding someone at gunpoint. Anyway, if you care about the Emmys, among the winners are:

Outstanding Drama Series: The Sopranos

Outstanding Comedy Series: 30 Rock

Outstanding Lead Actor in A Drama Series: James Spader, Boston Legal

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series: America Ferrera, Ugly Betty

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series:Sally Field, Brothers & Sisters

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series: Ricky Gervais, Extras
