The higher you are, the harder you fall. Britney Spears has fallen - HARD. Here, I trace the events over the past months that have led to the implosion of one of pop’s former reigning queens.
1. High profile divorce from Kevin Federline who must now be laughing at her.
2. Seen carvoting about town with former BFF Paris Hilton sans underpants.
3. Checks in and out of rehab multiple times.
4. Criticised for driving with her baby on her lap.
5. Britney is investigated for child abuse charges.
6. Much hyped comeback performance on MTV Music Video Awards Show turns into disaster.
7. Britney’s new single Gimme More debuts at a dismal #85 on the charts.
8. Britney’s divorce lawyer Laura Wasser drops her.
9. Britney’s new manager Jeff Kwatinezt dumps her as a client because of her erratic behaviour.
10. Temporarily loses custody of her kids as she is ordered to undergo drug tests.
