Chris Daughtry performs in Singapore
One of the most successful American Idol alumini ever, Chris Daughtry is in Singapore to perform for 1 night only at the St James Powerstation.
His self-titled debut album sold more than 1 million copies after just 5 weeks of release, becoming the fastest selling debut rock album of all time, featuring radio favourites It’s Not Over and Home, which was nominated for Monster Single Of The Year at the recent MTV Video Music Awards.
No matter that it lost out to Rihanna’s Annoying Song Of The Year Umbrella, Daughtry became one of the top-selling albums of the year in the US. In its ninth week of release, the album reached number one on the Billboard charts.
