Put Britney on suicide watch
Britney Spears got charged with a hit and run, and driving without a valid licence. The hit and run happened in August when she hit a car in the parking lot and just left. As for the licence, city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said “According to DMV records in California, no license has ever been issued to her.” If convicted, Britney Spears could be jailed up to 6 months. She was in tears as she entered her lawyer’s office.
And that’s not the end of her troubles. Her former bodyguard Tony Barretto has sold his story to News Of The World in which he said he saw Britney Spears overdose many times, drink and drive, and smoke by her kids. He also said that once, just days after her release from rehab, she went on a binge and “She was in a terrible state, just sweating and shaking. Her pupils were huge – we thought she was dying.” There are many other sordid details of her drug abuse which can’t help in her seeking custody of her kids in her divorce.
All this on top of Britney Spear’s MTV VMA fiasco, and her single Gimme More bombing on the charts, talk about kicking someone when they’re down!
