Things I learnt from the movie The Brave One
1. It’s a good idea to walk your dog in Central Park after dark.
2. Always keep your dog on a leash.
3. The police will check surveillance cameras in a convenience store but not those in New York subways.
4. New York subway trains and platforms are deserted.
5. Your cellphone will go off at the most inopportune, usually life-threatening moment.
6. If you can’t get a gun legally, there’s a Chinese guy waiting outside to sell you one.
7. Don’t listen to your iPod when there are thugs around.
8. Teenage guys make terrible eye witnesses since they usually end up describing every woman to be Jennifer Aniston.
9. After you’ve just pointed a gun at a thug, it’s reasonable to assume he will just drive away.
10. Don’t take someone else’s dog, they may just shoot you in the eye to get it back.
The Brave One stars Jodie Foster as a woman who struggles to recover from a brutal attack by setting out on a mission for revenge.
