Batman 2008 Movie
The new Batman:The Dark Knight 2008 movie looks serious. Batman and James Gordon join forces with Gotham’s new District Attorney, Harvey Dent, to take on a psychotic bank robber known as The Joker (Heath Ledger), whilst other forces plot against them, and Joker’s crimes grow more and more deadly.
Jack Nicholson was furious at not being asked to reprise his role as the Joker but looking at the images, Heath Ledger makes for a far more menacing and creepy joker compared to Nicholson’s silly, clown-like kid’s version which fitted better with the previous kiddy Batman movies by Tim Burton. Batman:The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan who also directed the excellent Batman Begins knows what he is doing. Can’t wait.
