American Idol 7 David Hernandez Scandal
This season of American Idol seems to have more than its fair share of scandals. After scandals involving Carly Smithson’s previous $2million record deal with now defunct MCA, Amanda Overmyer’s DUI arrest, now comes the lastest American Idol scandal involving latino David Hernandez.
According to an Associated Press report here, David Hernandez once worked as a male stripper at Dick’s Cabaret, appearing fully nude and performing lap dances for the club’s “mostly male†clientele, club manager Gordy Bryan said Monday.
“He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here,†Bryan said.
Will this get David Hernandez disqualified? Hope not, he’s a good singer and besides, some people really have to do what they can to make a living, so let’s not judge.
