This could be the end for my favorite Amanda Overmyer who sings “Back In The USSR†on American Idol Top 11 performances night. I’ve long said that Amanda Overmyer is not mainstream enough for American Idol and she would be eliminated early despite her enormous talent. Looking on the bright side, she won’t have to go through some stupid American Idol theme like “Barry Manilow Songbook”. Oh well, more time to get started with her professional singing career.

I am not a fan of Amanda but I do feel she has talent. If she does get eleminated hopefully she will get a record deal anyway and be the successful rocker of this season like Chris Daughtry was from last season.
Amanda does have a lot of talent, but I agree, not enough to win American Idol. However, tonight Kristy Lee Cook must go home. She has been consistently “forgettable” as Simon would say.
