Heard in his tirade, “That’s two years in a row, man … give a black man a chance…I’m trying hard, man, I have the … number one record, man.” Don’t worry, all swear words have been beeped out.

Britney Spears has been making headline entertainment news for all the wrong reasons. Critics in major newspapers around the country have slammed her MTV Video Music Awards supposed comeback performance. Rumours have it that even Britney Spears herself knew it was horrible and that she cried backstage.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? So why was Britney Spears’ totally lame, pathetically lip-synched Video Music Awards performance at the Palms Casino last night allowed to be seen by the rest of the world?
Spears was stuffed into a spangled bra and hot pants and jiggled like Jell-O as she sleepwalked through the song.

Britney Spears’ black bikini sparkled, but her “comeback” performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last night fell as flat as her ill-fitting blond weave…Glassy-eyed and out of step, Britney seemed lost in a sea of pole dancers and overmuscled male models who groped her so much she wasn’t even mouthing the words by the time her number ended.

As in most train wrecks, it was hard to focus on just one thing as the Britney Spears disaster unfolded on MTV’s Video Music Awards. There was just so much that went wrong. Out-of-synch lip-synching. Lethargic movements that seemed choreographed by a dance instructor for a nursing home. The paunch in place of Spears’ once-taut belly. At times she just stopped singing, as if even she knew nothing could save her performance.

UPDATE Viacom has been going around the internet in a video wipeo out rampage, removing all videos of Britney’s performance, so if the above video has been removed, go to MTV to see the video of Britney’s VMA performance.
Britney Spears performed at the recent MTV Video Music Awards in what has been variously described as “nervous”, “washed-up” and “mediocore”. She also didn’t exactly sing the song, but lip-synched to it. And even then, she didn’t get the lip-synching right. It also didn’t help that the song itself sounded like some rehashed techno throwaway from the 90s.
Despite the huge hype surrounding what was supposed to be THE Britney Spears come-back performance, it was painful to watch because Britney looked like she couldn’t wait for the performance to be over – what could be over though, is her career. And which lousy stylist dressed her in a bikini?

Paris Hilton is suing greeting card maker Hallmark for using her catch phrase That’s Hot in one of their cards.
The reason for the lawsuit? “Hallmark has, among other transgressions, misappropriated her image and invaded her privacy with the card.†Wow, really? Paris Hilton is looking to collect about $50,000 dollars in damages.
People have been stealing my catchphrase “That’s LAME!” for years now and I never sued anyone. No wonder the rich get richer.
