With Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2007 happening over this week, I thought it might be interesting to post a few new iMac designs done by Mac fans. The conference has already seen the release of new MacBook Pros which utilize the Santa Rosa chipset.

Mac forums are rife with rumours of a new industrial design for the iMac which is overdue for upgrades for both in its hardware and software. With Apple putting all its efforts into the upcoming fugly impractical iPhone, and ignoring Mac computer users, forummers have come up with their own vision of what the new iMac should or would look like.

Jay Leno slams MSNBC for giving lead coverage to Paris Hilton while sidelining another story which involved the replacement of the chairman of Joint Chiefs. That’s America for you.

This video shows Paris Hilton being transferred into a police car to be taken to her court hearing. Earlier, she had assumed that she could attend the hearing by phone. Harlow!! She was handcuffed as she was led to the police car. Why was she handcuffed? Are the police afraid she might hit them with her Versace purse and try to make a run for it?

Paris Hilton’s mom Kathy speaks to reporters on her way to her car. You can see the number of papparazzi outside Paris Hilton’s home. Her neighbours are not happy with the ruckus.

Paris Hilton has been sent back to jail by Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer to complete the rest of her sentence. She had earlier been transferred to house arrest by the LA Country Sheriff Lee Baca who had ordered the transfer without explicit approval from the judge.

Paris Hilton was ordered to attend a hearing before the judge to determine her medical condition which the sheriff had cited as the reason for transferring her to house arrest. The judge is rightfully miffed that the sheriff had overruled the judge’s decision and ordered the transfer.

Said the judge, “”I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions. At no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home.”

Paris Hilton entered the courtroom weeping and continued to cry throughout the hearing, which lasted more than an hour. When the judge pronounced his sentence to send Paris back to jail, she screamed for her mom and eyewitnesses say that she was “physically dragged” out of the courtroom.

The order to release Paris Hilton to house arrest was solely the decision of the L.A. Sheriff’s Department. The Los Angeles City Attorney has filed a motion asking Judge Michael Sauer – the judge who sentenced Paris Hilton – to have her returned to jail to serve out her full sentence. Paris Hilton has been ordered into court 9am Friday, June 8th for a hearing to determine whether she should be put back behind bars.
