The Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson thinks he’s got so many good things happen to him at such an early age that he feels like he’s doomed to die by the time he turns 30.

“I guess I just thought if too many good things happen, then you’re going to die at 30,” he explains in a new Nightline interview airing Monday. “I didn’t want that to happen. “Yeah, so probably, I’m going to die at 30. Actually, it’s God saying, ‘Hey, you shouldn’t have asked for too much.’”

“It’s not what people tell you when people warn you of being an actor,” he says. “If and when I have children, [and] they ask if they want to be actors, I’m like, Yeah, it’s great. You don’t have to do anything. Everything goes right.”

“I used to spend a lot of time walking in cities by myself, and I can’t really do that without being, um, a little paranoid,” he says. “You get better at hiding and you get better at choosing which areas are the right areas to go to. And you also get better at interacting with strangers.”

Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul commented on Simon Cowell‘s supposed upcoming nuptials to Mezhgan Hussainy.

When asked by Hollywood celebrity gossip mag PEOPLE whether she thought Simon would show a softer side after marriage, Paula said, “That’s left to be determined! I know Simon so well and honest to God, I think he’s at that stage in his life where he’s a grown-up Simon now, making him a great and loving husband. But he still has that little bad boy in him.”

She said she was as shocked as everyone else when the engagement was revealed. “It took me about 12 days to take my jaw off the ground and put it back up,” says Abdul of hearing the news. “But Mezghan is a lovely girl and I’ve known her for a long time. They make a great couple and I’m happy for them.”

It has been announced that runway model Gemma Ward will be in the highly anticipated fourth movie in the franchise Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

She will play the role of a mermaid alongside stars Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush and Penelope Cruz. Former regulars, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly have been dropped.

Actress and director Jodie Foster has been accused of hitting a 17 year old boy.

A police report stated that the incident occurred on May 29 when the boy tried to photograph Foster who was with her two young children:

“Vict while at The Grove saw susp and began to take pics of susp with his camera then walked to the valet area of The Grove. Susp followed vict, poked him on his chest, grabbed vict by his left arm causing visible injury.”

Reps of Jodie Foster has responded to the accusation saying that the boy was in fact paparazzo who followed her and behaved “inappropriately” by crowding her and her children.

They told Hollywood celebrity gossip news rumor magazine PEOPLE, “This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo. He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet.”

The boy claims to have sustained “scratches and bruises” but Jodie’s reps say that’s bull, “She touched him on the elbow in an attempt to take him aside to talk to him and tell him to stop.”

Because the Twilight Saga movies are such big money spinners, the producers have decided to split the final chapter Twilight Breaking Dawn into two movies.

Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were in the know about the final movie being split into two parts and will be on board to finish the projects.

Part one is slated for release in November 2011. In the meantime, Twilight Eclipse is set to premier in theaters on 30 June.
